Introducing Hazim Bangwar, the new Assistant Commissioner of Nazimabad

KARACHI: Pakistani politics are full of elderly people trying to use age old methods to fix a country that needs new solutions. It is rare to see a new face in politics, let alone a young one. And that is why Hazim Bangwar is a breath of fresh air! Who is the new Assistant Commissioner of Nazimabad and why is he already so popular? Here is all that you need to know about Hazim Bangwar.

Hazim Bangwar comes from an incredibly educated and qualified family. His mother is from Iraq and is an architect and his father has served as a DIG in Pakistan. He grew up in New York and that’s where he got his initial education from. He soon moved to London and went onto to get a double degree in Design & Marketing from AIU London, which explains his sense of style and a law degree from the University from London. 

But Bangwar isn’t all work and no play. While in London for his studies, the current Assistant Commissioner spent a lot of time in studios where he utilized his knack for music. He ended up writing songs for some big names in the industry including T-Pain, Jason Derulo and Nicki Minaj. He was also signed under ther Young Money Entertainment as a singer/songwriter. Since then, he has released songs which have topped international charts.

But that doesn’t mean that Bangwar isn’t to be taken seriously. The 29-year-old had returned to Pakistan where he studied for and passed his SPSC Examination and became a PMS Officer, which paved his way to his current post as Assistant Commissioner Nazimabad.

Needless to say, the youth is excited to see someone who can relate to them join in politics, irrespective of what level as long as someone will understand their perspective.
