KARACHI: Music band Kashmir is back with a new song, called ‘Ayi Bahaar’ and it is fun. The band rose to fame with Pepsi Battle of the Bands and released their debut album ‘Khwaab’ last year. It has been on our radar ever since because we are always looking forward to some new Pakistani music which has become rare lately. With ‘Ayi Bahaar’, it looks like Kashmir is treading new waters – because the sound is so different from what we have had from the band in the past.
‘Ayi Bahaar’ is all about rejoicing over the season of spring and new beginnings, and the happy feeling associated with that special someone who makes you feel like spring is here. The guitar riffs, the upbeat music, the happy yet subtle vocals – everything perfectly jells together making this track a perfect feel-good song. The music video is colorful, bright, and happening – everything about it just screams summer!
Kashmir’s has been an amazing story in the Pakistani contemporary music scene. The pop-rock band from Karachi that won Pepsi Battle of the Bands in 2017 and won our hearts with their music has had an amazing journey till now. From the music that has been coming our way, it does seem like they are going to keep surprising us with the range that these boys hold.
With the new song by the music band, Kashmir may be bringing out another album and this is just the beginning. To find out what they hold in store for fans, we will have to wait and see.
