KARACHI: Donald Trump did and said some pretty ridiculous things during and after the US presidential elections in 2020. His supporters seem to share the same spirit and enthusiasm and have carried it forward in 2021. On January 6th, supporters of Trump rioted and protested at the Capitol Hill in Washington DC while votes were being tallied to confirm Joe Biden’s win a few months earlier. Twitter, as usual, made use full use of the opportunity. Here are some of the memes which came after the Capitol Hill attack.
What is even going on?
Hundreds of pro-Trump protesters got into a tussle with police officers in full riot gear, some calling the officers “traitors” for doing their jobs, according to CNN. So far, four people have been killed, including one woman who was shot.
