#GonnaTellMyKids is trending on Twitter and we’ve made a compilation of the funniest memes from it

KARACHI: A new meme trend has emerged on social media that started from the hashtag #GonnaTellMyKids on Twitter. People are suggesting that they are going to tell their future kids an incorrect depiction of the image by saying it was someone else. The trend went viral because people were sharing hilarious and absurd suggestions.

The memes are particularly of celebrities and famous figures whose identities are being switched around. There’s something about having the power to re-write history in the most ridiculous way possible that falls short of amazing.

To prove this point, we’ve compiled some of the funniest “I’m gonna tell my kids” memes that users on Twitter have produced.
