Assistant commissioner Peshawar Sara Tawab Umar brings her baby to work and we’re all for it

KARACHI: A few months ago, an Australian member of parliament was all over the internet for breastfeeding her two-month-old baby when Parliament was in session.

Pakistani women are not behind either. Additional Assistant Commissioner Peshawar Sara Tawab Umar has been making waves in news this week. On Wednesday, she was seen overseeing an anti-encroachment drive in Peshawar whilst carrying her five-month-old in her arms. News outlets reported that she also looked into shops that had illegally raised the prices of commodities in areas such as Gulbahar, Faqirabad and Dilzak Road. As many as 45 people were also arrested on the day of the operation.

Umar won us all over!
