The official election (apple juice) drinking game

KARACHI: With less than 24 hours to go, election fever is at an all-time high right now. The days leading up to election day have been filled with scandalous book releases, bogus statements and people ending up in jail. Terrific (terrifying?) times. But it’s safe to say that there will still be lots of drama, we plan on staying hydrated (read: drunk — on apple juice, of course) for the most part. Lucky for you, we’ve created a drinking game you can play tomorrow while you wait for the results. After you’re done voting, that is.

Watch: Who deserves your vote?

1. Take a shot

Bottoms up every time Imran Khan says the words ‘tabdeeli’ and ‘Naya Pakistan’

2. Invent a new drink

Keep switching between all local news channels and every time there’s breaking news, invent a new drink. And trust us on this, everything will be breaking on election day, including your alcohol tolerance levels. Uh… we mean non-alcoholic alcohol.

3. Chug

Every time you see Bilawal Bhutto on television or splashed across newspapers

4. Sip your drink

Every time you hear the song “Jeetega bhai sher, ik vaari fer”

5. Down the whole bottle

When someone cries DHANDLIIII…

Friends, the morning of July 26 will determine the next five years of our lives. So drink up or go home.
